A day excursion to
Cheddar Gorge
Bath is known for its iconic
architecture – the Royal Crescent
strikes an impression from an aerial
perspective, as though a series of
bubbles are floating across the
famous spa town.
For years, the bubbling mineral waters from the thermal springs have
enticed visitors with their healing powers and historic edifice. Dipping
one9s toes in this iconic pool is no longer an option, so swap the mist
rising off the waters for the bubbles ascending from a cold glass of
sparkling wine over lunch, courtesy of a tour at one of the area9s oldest
vineyards. Beyond majestic oak doors set within Baroque architecture
lies the only non-royal house to boast the title of Palace. Discover the
treasures and history inside Blenheim Palace and its lavish gardens and
parklands.
On this new tour, discover England9s
smallest city, the beautiful Mendip
Hills, the spectacular Cheddar Gorge
and the Somerset Coast. Enjoy a day
in the wonderful city of Bath, a
protected World Heritage Site,
which is full of architectural
wonders. We head to the Somerset
Coast and visit Weston-super-Mare,
a seaside resort with a fabulous
beach and new pier, before an
afternoon spent at Oakham Treasures, which will give you an uplifting
trip down memory lane with its vast and unique collection of
memorabilia. Finally, we explore Wells, England9s smallest city, on
market day, followed by a short journey to the spectacular setting of
Cheddar Gorge, home to some breath -taking caves.
